[00:00.29]Don't Try to Tell Me - The Foundations
[00:01.71]Composed by：David Young
[00:06.80]Now don't try to tell me that God is dead
[00:09.06]I just talked to him this morning
[00:11.32]Don't try to tell me he's not alive
[00:13.46]He lives within my heart
[00:15.84]His word is always by my side
[00:18.00]And he brightens up the way
[00:20.24]So don't try to tell me that God is dead
[00:22.52]I just talked to him today
[00:25.91]Now don't try to tell me that God is dead
[00:28.11]His mighty arm is leading
[00:30.37]I have no fear when he is near
[00:32.53]He takes good care of me
[00:34.88]His rod and staff they comfort me
[00:37.23]I feast upon his love
[00:39.30]His goodness and mercy shall follow me
[00:41.51]Till I reach that home above
[00:44.92]Now don't try to tell me that God is dead
[00:47.14]I just talked to him this morning
[00:49.41]Don't try to tell me he's not alive
[00:51.57]He lives within my heart
[00:53.89]His word is always by my side
[00:56.10]And he brightens up the way
[00:58.30]So don't try to tell me that God is dead
[01:00.61]I just talked to him today
[01:09.69]Now some folks claim that God is dead
[01:11.81]And that's what the devil wanted
[01:14.35]Satan's been lying and deceiving man
[01:16.59]Ever since time began
[01:18.61]Well God can't live in a wicked mind
[01:20.75]Or a life that's filled with sin
[01:23.06]The thing to do is put the devil out
[01:25.22]Get the love of God within
[01:28.63]Now don't try to tell me that God is dead
[01:30.86]I just talked to him this morning
[01:33.18]Don't try to tell me he's not alive
[01:35.31]He lives within my heart
[01:37.62]His word is always by my side
[01:39.81]And he brightens up the way
[01:42.06]So don't try to tell me that God is dead
[01:44.34]I just talked to him today
[01:47.88]Now don't try to tell me that God is dead
[01:49.98]I just talked to him this morning
[01:52.23]Don't try to tell me he's not alive
[01:54.32]He lives within my heart
[01:56.68]His word is always by my side
[01:58.90]And he brightens up the way
[02:01.11]So don't try to tell me that God is dead
[02:03.40]I just talked to him today
[02:06.76]So don't try to tell me that God is dead
[02:08.97]I just talked to him today
