I call on the maker
Our creator
I stand here before you
In this beautiful tragedy
You gave us our spirit
Why did you poison
The purity of what could have been
Without hate
Without wars
Where the innocent don't fall
But instead you gave us choice
Our freedom our curse
I'm lost in my shadow of doubt
I'm lost in my own fantasy
But we'll rise and we'll find our path
The great mystery we call life
I pace around for hours
Haunted by my thoughts
Do I like the person
I see inside of me
Am I strong
What's my flaw
Do I matter here at all
Where can I find the strength
To bring good to face my fate

The great mystery we call life
We try to find answers
We built our machines
We think we're getting stronger
Yet our souls are growing weak
