StringStrom- Pharos
They left me on a worthless rock
For daring not to praise their rot
They sent their wrath to see me fall
Cast out, I braced to take them all
I broke their siege with stolen steel
Then pledged my strength to the Regent's will
On Sotha, he gave me a post to fill
To guard the Pharos with iron will
We broke from warp, lost from the war
Our fleet was scattered and drifted far
On Sotha's soil, we braced for strife
Prepared to fight and hold the line
Then I saw him, marked by the traitor's seal
Of those we're trained to hate and kill
I raised my fist but found him still
No sign of hate, no will to spill
We were never meant to fight as one
But war decides what must be done
The night came down with terror and blade
They carved for blood but we never swayed
We held the line with ironclad strength
Our fury joined and dealt them death
I saw his lines hold under fire
No gaps, no weakness, no retreat
He fought with structure, not with pride
The kind of work my kind should meet
He watched my steps with wary eyes
No trust was asked, and none was lied
I wore the image that marked me wrong
Yet my duty to the Emperor held iron strong
We earned each other's trust fighting side by side
The kind of trust only war brings to life
They've breached the gate, the Pharos strains
We've lost the flank, the walls give way
Our lines collapse, the choice was made
One stays to save what must remain
Two shields, one will, against the dark
A fortress etched from ash and spark
I set the charge and locked the gate behind
The beacon stands, my life for what it guides
I am the line that wont break nor bend
Iron Within, Iron Without, I serve till the end!
He stayed behind so we could endure
The light still shines as his faith was sure
We were victorious but I lost a friend
Dantioch died a hero to the end
