The city fades outside the glass

Yesterday now moves so fast

A quiet song in my ears

Untangles all my hidden fears

Passing stations I don’t know

Chasing dreams where I can’t go

Winds of change begin to call

Strangely, I feel it all

This train is more than just a ride

It’s moving time and me inside

Every stop, I slowly see

The version I might come to be

With every rhythm, soft and free

My memories and hopes in me

This melody of the journey

Is where it all begins

Places marked inside my mind

New horizons left to find

Reflections in the window glass

Give courage as I pass

Scents of places I once missed

Smiles from strangers quietly twist

Into peace I didn’t know

Now my heart begins to grow

This railroad leads to more than miles

To somewhere past the daily trials

Like a heartbeat keeping time

This rhythm feels like mine

Even streets I've known before

Now feel like they could be more
