You're the subject of the wonder
I've been feeling for a month
And you made a good impression
'Cause I've only met you once
I couldn't help but count
The amount of times I caught your eye
But I won't know if I like you
Until I try, I try
I've been thinking I should make a move
But I haven't made one yet
It seems I take for granted
All the opportunity I get
And I feel like such a failure
Every time it passes by
I won't know if I like you
Until I try, I try
So what's it gonna be?
Am I reading you correctly?
I pray I didn't set
My hopes too high
'Cause I don't wanna leave
Yet another dream in pieces
But I won't know if I like you
Until I try, I try
I could say you look preoccupied
And the moment isn't right
I could try to save what face remains
And pretend you're not my type
I could take the pressure off
By telling yet another lie
But I won't know if I like you
Until I try, I try
