Every morning, I look in the mirror

An old man is staring back at me

I compare myself to old photographs

And wonder where it all went wrong

Those Italian silver foxes look so cool

Maybe I could pull it off myself

White T-shirt, slim-fit jeans

But my dad-bod is a bit too real

Looks like I had five extra meals

The clothes are almost identical

Guess I'm not built like the model

I told my wife I’m the next George Clooney

To see if she would still pursue me

She laughed so hard she spilled her tea

And said,"Keep dreaming, honey, please!"

I started taking long walks

Bought myself some running shoes

Got a fancy smartwatch too

But its battery lasts longer than my stamina

But I can't give up this time

Every fresh start costs a little money
