One day I saw a sunflower bloom at night.

It is not me. I'm inside out today.

I feel reversed, I'm trying but I just won't bloom anymore.

I fall harder and harder; the limit feels like the sky.

But I can't walk even an inch forward.

Your truth's a burden that I carry without guilt.

Rock bottom's the closest I get, and the salvation I see is the one you negotiate.

Is no one here to see?

I swap the words like I swap my last breath.

A pause for a hope that never comes.
