Outside the world became dark.
The city lights shone brightly.
But I was trapped in this moment.
Feeling lost and out of sight.
I missed that moment, and I let it slip away.

But now it's just a memory.
I walked home alone, in the cold night sky.
Thinking about all the things I should have shared.
I missed the chance, and I missed the smile.
