Desolation, silent whispers
Across the land
Fear and anger, blown
Away by a toxic breeze
Thousands of bodies rotting
In their nest of misery
This cataclysmic feast
Buries all my sympathy
All that we have been,
Blown away silently
The beauty of the world,
Thrown away willingly
Violence among brothers
Hatred amongst black and white
All that i see, is suffering and agony
Our ignorance will be our decay
My anger grows, a vessel of contempt
I am tired of this sight
How could we get so carried away
I have to escape the vultures' grip
To the peace only nature
Can provide
