Gos is not slack concerning his promises

God Is Not Slack

Verse 1

The Lord is not slow, His promise stands,

He holds our lives in loving hands.

He waits for all to turn and live,

His heart is full, He longs to give.

Chorus

God is not slack, His word is true,

Mercy is shining over you.

Grace is alive, His love won’t fail,

Hope in His name will always prevail.

Verse 2

He’s not a judge who turns away,

But calls us closer every day.

Forgiving hearts, His arms are wide,

In Christ our sins are cast aside.

Chorus

God is not slack, His word is true,

Mercy is shining over you.

Grace is alive, His love won’t fail,

Hope in His name will always prevail.

Verse 3

So lift your eyes, don’t live in fear,

The Savior’s voice is always near.

The King of love has made it clear,

Eternal joy is waiting here.

Chorus (repeat)

God is not slack, His word is true,

Mercy is shining over you.

Grace is alive, His love won’t fail,

Hope in His name will always prevail.
