You are more lovely and more temperate
The rough wind shakes the beloved buds of May
The lease of summer has no definite end
Sometimes the sun's light is too strong
All good things sometimes do pass away
By chance or nature's changing course untrimmed
But your eternal summer shall not fade
Nor lose possession of that fair thou ow'st
When in eternal lines to time thou grow'st
So long as men can breathe or eyes can see
This poem lives and gives thee life
