Zombie

In the moonlight shadows

a zombie roams

searching for thrills

in flesh and bones

Just a zombie

looking for fun

zombies don’t cry

but can still be sad

A lonely zombie

in a timeless daze

a lonely zombie

in the foggy haze

Creepy eyes

slimy skin

tattered clothes

no next of kin

Rotten flesh

revolting site

craving food

a little bite

A lonely zombie

in a timeless daze

a lonely zombie

in the foggy haze

They can’t move quickly

can't even swim

can’t smell the flowers

can’t watch a film

Yearning for connection

a touch a smile

in this undead world

it's been a while
