Drunk As Any Rich Man

Never been the kind

For champagne and wine

I never did care for the taste

But the cheap beer and whiskey

Can get you more than tipsy

And that’s just the way I was raised

I spend my last dime on a good time

The millionaire’s life ain’t for me

I know that Dickel ain’t Pappy

I’m broke but I’m happy

And I’m as drunk as any rich man could be

The Lord and cold beer

You can find both ‘round here

They’ll take you just as you are

For the hell I’ve been doin’

This here’s my communion

When I give my 10% to the bar

I spend my last dime on a good time

The millionaire’s life ain’t for me

My bank says that it’s empty

From the suds and the whiskey

And I’m as drunk as any rich man could be

I spend my last dime on a good time

The millionaire’s life ain’t for me

No I ain’t got a penny

But I got all my friends here with me

And we’re as rich as any drunk man could be

Wait, hold on

I’m as drunk as any rich man could be
