running when i first met you

Your eyes were sparkling

like the sun in blue

The yellow spun through our hair

like glimpses

of the life we could share

if we only listened

to the only chance that we could get

do we run to the sunrise

or to the sunset?

but if we jump from these pages

we can turn around the bend

every rainbow,

every streak across

are just visions of beauty that we see

in each other's eyes
