There is some decision I have to make
While my promise is in progress
The first thing I have to do I break out of my emotional state
Acknowledge them but break out of my funk
Because of all of the flux and uncertainty around me
And one of the fastest ways to break out of that
Is to sing
Literally
To open your mouth and start singing
When you start singing it breaks the emotional strain that has a hold of you
So when you feel down
You can actually start singing
And it will lift your emotions to the point
that what you are feeling you don’t even feel no more
That’s why music soothes the savage beast
And it will lift
