Staring intently at what used to be my territory
My eyes are turning bloodshot red
Inside this place that used to be my home

With enough force to smash the doorknob right off
The thing I saw past the opened door
Was nothing more than a mere abyss
Even so, tears come welling up and overflow
Everything around me is just somebody else's deal
It's got nothing to do with me at all

When I turn back around, the crowd of people
Are clapping their hands together toward me
