The night is thick the path unsure
no sign appears to mark the way;
yet from afar a lamp is pure
a fragile promise faint but stay
I walk because that light is there
though weak it breaks the cruelest night;
its presence answers every prayer
its silence still becomes my sight
The dawn will come the sun will burn
but first the lamp must do its part;
it tells me faith can still return
it plants its fire inside my heart
No darkness lasts no shadow wrong—
a single lamp can last till dawn
