Daughter of the cold

Ice rings under the moon

Whispers cut like a rune

Vengeance rises tonight —

Through the dark walks the light

Father fell in a burning flame

Silent peaks hold his fading name

Swear I do with a frozen soul —

Aesir’s pride will be mine to hold

Down the slopes where the grey winds roam

Tracks of fate lead me far from home

Fear returns with the biting frost —

Asgard trembles for what they’ve lost

I walk — in the rising cold

I walk — where no hope is told

I am Skadi, the mountain’s blood

I am fury that breaks the flood

North is mine — let them beg or bleed

North is mine — and I claim my creed

Aesir stand in a steel-like line —

See my shadow in silver shine

I arrive — let their laughter fall

Blood for blood is the ancient call

Loki twists into jest and screams

Yet my heart holds the frost of dreams

Feet decide who my fate will bind —

Njord beside me, but not my kind

I walk — in the rising cold

I walk — where no hope is told

I am Skadi, the mountain’s blood

I am fury that breaks the flood

North is mine — let them beg or bleed

North is mine — and I claim my creed

Sea wants storms, but the peaks want peace

Tear our hearts till the bond will cease

Waves and ice never dance as one —

So I follow the northern sun

Snow and wind greet their wandering child

Freedom’s breath in the mountains wild

Voice of stone whispers in my bones —

North eternal, where I take my throne

I walk — in the rising cold

I walk — where no hope is told

I am Skadi, the mountain’s blood

I am fury that breaks the flood

North is mine — let the ages know

North is mine — till the long winds blow
