I have been sitting on this beach
Waiting for any boat to pass
Pouring rain is the only one to talk
Crashing on all these colorful rocks
And I shout" is there anyone out there?
Can you finally kill the echo in my head?"
On the distance, there's a beautiful glow
I wonder how far it is
I feel stranded
No one i know can seem
To spot my flares
At least, she's there to cry for me
A raft to sail through the pain
Of living all alone
Now the storm has left
It's time to carry on
Why would a proven sailor
Sabotage his own boat?
"Captain'O'captain,
Where are we heading now to?"
The crew keeps asking,
A sheer fear burning in their eyes
"I don't know!
No harbour on the horizon."
He smiles at them.
"Lands of golden trees await."
Secretly sobbing, one last night
Of hope won't kill
Supply's long gone
And sealed is their fate
