Love Came Down at Christmas

Joseph and Mary looked all around

Couldn't find a room anywhere in town

Mary was close to delivering a son

An inn keeper did what had to be done

One night in the shepherds' field

Angels appeared, the Messiah revealed

Stay calm, you're in no danger

Go to Bethlehem find a babe in a manger

Love, love is coming down

O love

Love came down at Christmas

O love

Love came down at Christmas

The wise men looked up to the stars

They saw a sign and traveled far

They packed a caravan of gifts and supplies

They wanted to see with their own eyes

Old King Herod was a wicked man

He murdered baby boys throughout the land

He was a liar, yeah, he was a coward

Threatened by the thought of losing power

Love, love was coming down

O love

Love came down at Christmas

O love

Love came down at Christmas

O love

Love came down at Christmas

O love

Love came down at Christmas

For unto us a child is born

Unto us a son is given

And he shall be Immanuel

God among the living

O love

Love came down at Christmas

O love

Love came down at Christmas

O love

Love came down at Christmas

O love

Love came down at Christmas
