If You Would Prove Me Wrong Now

I am fashionably late

Forgot the day, the time, the place

Attempts to concentrate

All ended up in vain until

A revelation came

Out of this weird phase

There is more to discover

Than uncovering one layer

And no matter who tried to point that out

I've always looked away

Like some sort a stubborn man

But that will change today

If you would prove me wrong now

It'd be like breaking out

Of all my pre-assumptions

The second you speak out

It's surely unexpected

That eventually I came round

I was the one to blame

When compromises failed again

Stuck in an idea

Cause in my mind it was so clear

Agree or disagree

There's nothing in between

Now I can hear another

Point of view and say

There's nothing left I could explain

You'll find out anyway

I've always been hardheaded but

From now on it will change
