Pizza box open on the coffee table wide
Seven slices gone, only one left inside
Four of us sitting here, pretending not to care
But everybody's eyeing it with that hungry stare
I paid for half the pizza, so i got a claim
But my roommate says he drove, so he's in the game
Sarah's arguing she barely ate two pieces tops
Meanwhile jake's been quiet, planning when to make his drop
Tension rising in the room, nobody wants to be that guy
But we all want it, can't deny
Last slice sitting there, nobody making moves
Social etiquette or hunger, what we gonna choose
Last slice, cold and waiting on the cardboard box
Everybody's playing nice but we're ready for the talks
It's just the last slice, last slice
Someone suggests we split it four ways, that's polite
But cutting it that small defeats the whole delight
Jake proposes rock-paper-scissors for the win
Sarah says we should give it to whoever's most thin
I'm calculating who ate what, keeping mental score
Pretty sure i only had two while jake had four
But calling people out would make me look so petty
So i sit here starving, stomach's not ready
Tension rising in the room, nobody wants to be that guy
But we all want it, can't deny
Last slice sitting there, nobody making moves
Social etiquette or hunger, what we gonna choose
Last slice, cold and waiting on the cardboard box
Everybody's playing nice but we're ready for the talks
It's just the last slice, last slice
Twenty minutes passed, pizza's getting cold now
Everyone's pretending that they're full somehow
Scrolling on our phones, acting all distracted
But peripheral vision got that slice tracked, kid
This is psychological warfare at its peak
Whoever breaks first is officially weak
Maybe i'll just take it, face the judgment call
But my reputation in this friend group might fall
Why's it so complicated, it's just food
Why can't someone take it, break the mood
We're all adults here but acting like kids
Over one slice of pizza with extra cheese and no bids
Last slice sitting there, nobody making moves
Social etiquette or hunger, what we gonna choose
Last slice, cold and waiting on the cardboard box
Everybody's playing nice but we're ready for the talks
It's just the last slice, last slice
Yeah, just the last slice
Jake finally took it, we all felt relieved
But secretly we're bitter, feeling low-key peeved
Last slice
