Brightly the moon shines on high
Pure moonlight beacons in sky

Would they know I was raised by this ground
My parents pawned clothes
And traded food suplies
To send letter to inquire my life
Bumped across the seas the writing was blurred
Head raised with tears out of eyes
The moonlight took me in her arms
I asked her where's my hometown
On boat hearing the bellman's beat
My consciousness slowly got numb
Do not turn head however I want
Reality will break all dreams down
Through window I glanced the water by piers
Seemed to be covered by hoarfrost in calm
On the ether a jady rotund
Its shine led the gaze homeward bound
In a bowl of limpid river water
My crusted gaunt in heart was drowned
Better to make my yearning aground
With decades surging without sound
Something withered like autumn weeds
By winds from birthland were my dreams drunk
