Cherry Plum - Astronauts, Etc.
I envisioned it differently
I was foolish and thought
That was how it's supposed to be
So the winter was long
But we're flowering in the spring
And I quietly hum that pink melody
My cherry plum
Never thought I'd taste such love from your tree
My cherry plum
Never thought I'd taste such love from your tree
You were full of apology
But I shared in the blame
I expected a guarantee
You were dancing for rain
While I sat at my judgment seat
And then felt the sky open up over me
My cherry plum
Never thought I'd taste such love from your tree
My cherry plum
Never thought I'd taste such love from your tree
