Mountaintop
You left the ground
And settled on mountaintop.
Snow hides you out.
Your tired eyes looking up.
You’re sitting in contemplative state.
I’m on my way.
This beautiful mountain can crush me with ease.
The higher I get, the harder to breathe,
But I won't stop,
Cause right at the top I might meet my fate
And that’s why I’m not afraid
To suffocate.
I’m almost there
Making my way through clouds.
I can’t inhale.
No air to fill up my lungs.
I switched my mind to survival state,
But still on my way.
This beautiful mountain can crush me with ease
The higher I get, the harder to breathe,
But I won't stop
Cause right at the top I might meet my fate
And that’s why I’m not afraid
To suffocate.
I’d call your name if you would listen.
I’m here to hold you tight.
Tell me if there’s something missing
In me that you wanna find.
Tell me if I’m singing something wrong
And you know that I’m not your fate,
But if you need time, you just tell me so
And then I will try to wait.
Just don’t let me suffocate.
Don’t let me suffocate!
Just don’t let me suffocate.
Tell me if there something missing
In me that you wanna find.
