[00:00.00]Big Tree - Ralph McTell
[00:02.29]Composed by：Ralph McTell
[00:04.58]When I was a little
[00:05.83]Kid and not very old
[00:07.33]Me and Susie at
[00:08.62]The top of the road
[00:10.08]Used to run in
[00:11.29]A garden free
[00:12.78]Playing games
[00:13.89]Around a big tree
[00:17.37]One afternoon
[00:18.66]Whilst we played
[00:20.04]We was led to
[00:21.37]The big tree's shade
[00:22.64]I showed her
[00:24.00]She showed me
[00:25.42]Lots of fun behind
[00:26.96]A big tree
[00:30.39]Big tree what
[00:31.55]Do you know
[00:32.67]And why do you spread
[00:33.96]Your branches low
[00:35.16]Oh the big tree
[00:36.60]Was our friend
[00:37.73]And the big tree
[00:38.75]Knew how it would end
[00:42.76]Soft grass and
[00:43.88]A leafy bed
[00:45.20]So we touched tongues
[00:46.56]And giggled instead
[00:47.92]I showed her
[00:49.32]She showed me
[00:50.49]But we got caught
[00:51.69]Behind a big tree
[00:55.05]'Cause it was
[00:55.98]A neighbour
[00:56.60]Who complained
[00:57.73]And she told us
[00:58.66]Both to be ashamed
[01:00.47]I got cuffed
[01:01.76]Susie cried
[01:02.80]But we couldn't've
[01:03.80]Done nothing
[01:04.46]If we tried
[01:07.90]Big tree why
[01:09.21]Do you sigh
[01:10.39]Come on and raise
[01:11.78]Your branches high
[01:13.06]Big tree
[01:14.30]Knows everything
[01:15.49]See him tremble
[01:16.98]In the wind
[01:19.97]Well ain't it a
[01:21.10]Crime or is it a sin
[01:22.94]Barred from the garden
[01:24.21]And we couldn't get in
[01:25.60]Me and Susie with
[01:26.91]Nothing to hide
[01:27.88]But I guess we'll
[01:28.85]Make it in
[01:29.49]The world outside
