I've left unsaid

Moments of kindness

Gestures that you've spread

You've always been there

A constant in my life

Through the good and the bad

Through joy and through strife

But now I want to stop

And take a breath to say

And the tears we've cried

For being my shelter

My friend, my guide

It's easy to forget
