Dreaming Lavender

Lavender skies, drifting high

Whispers in the midnight air

Fading echoes, soft and slow

Memories floating everywhere

Dreaming lavender, fading lights

Dancing shadows in the night (the night)

Dreaming lavender, gentle sighs

Carried softly through the sky

Moonlit roads and velvet dreams

Footsteps fading into glow

Silent voices call my name

Pulling me where shadows go

Fall into the endless blue

Softly, softly, I’ll find you

Waves of time just passing through

Hold me close and see it through

Dreaming lavender, glowing skies

Shimmering stars that never die (never die)

Dreaming lavender, drifting far

Carried softly where we are

Whispered dreams that gently fade

Echoes melting through the haze

Still the night holds every sigh

Underneath the moonlit sky
