The grain of the last wave brushes my feet

Sounding like your voice that said this was the end

The season left behind washes over the wet shore

Only the heart that never turned back remains by the water

The words we left at sea are all soaked through

And the end of a distant summer trembles softly

You remain on the grain of the last wave

Growing deeper the more you fade

A love that never ended turns into waterlight

Rolling long across every shore of my heart

The evening air closes like an empty shell

The wind that cooled at the end of my wet shirt
