Take Me As I Am

Take Me As I Am - Audrey De Montigny

Here I am, as I am, take a look and you'll see

I'm sometimes good and I'm sometimes bad

Sometimes right in between

But I'm true to myself and nobody else

Can take that away from me, and I won't change for anybody cause

What you see is what you get, nothing more and nothing less

Take me, take me as I am

Heart and soul, I'm for real, not for show

Take me, take me as I am

I may not dance the way you dance, I just do what I do

My own way, my own style with my own set of rules

I've got all that I need to make me happy

So don't try to turn me round into what

I'm not cause I won't go for that

What you see is what you get, nothing more and nothing less

Take me, take me as I am

Heart and soul, I'm for real, not for show

Take me, take me as I am

I may not be perfection to you but I'm good enough for me and I

I live my life the way I choose, do you know what I mean ?

What you see is what you get, nothing more and nothing less

Take me, take me as I am

Heart and soul, I'm for real, not for show

Take me, take me as I am

Don't try to change me now or re-arrange me now

Take me as I am

With everything I've got and everything I'm not

Take me as I am.
