“Tomorrow we get away.”
It’s the last word
You said to me
Leaving for Cay Castaway
No more hatred
How can I save you
My love
You have closed your eyes forevermore
Missile rain
Is burning the land
How I wish
To take you away
From memory of the fear and pain
How I wish
To take you away
From misery and the shadow of fate
How I wish
To take your hands with me and
We can dance in the midst of flames
Falling, falling flame
We dance until
The end of rain
Fire Rain
Color is falling apart
From your wings
Like glasses stained
Islands sink into the sea
At your last breath
How can I save you
My love
You told me to let go of the past
But the rain
Is burning my heart
How I wish
To take you away
From memory of the fear and pain
How I wish
To take you away
From misery and the shadow of fate
How I wish
To take your hands with me and
We can dance in the midst of flames
Falling, falling flame
We lose the way
Dance in fire rain
You said
there is a place
where theatres close no more
and statues uphold the sky
where music composes the laws
and paintings decorate the minds
You said
there is a place
where art makes an end to the wars
and death is as sweet as
the slumber of midsummer night
How I wish
To take you away
From memory of catastrophe here
How I wish
To take you away
I’m still waiting for
The day you awake
How I wish
To take your hands with me and
We can go to the dreaming land
Called Cay Castaway
We lose the way
Dance in fire rain
