By the temple gate he lay in begging for alms
A life long broken, worn by shame
Each day they carried him to plead
A soul lost in the void, a sad need
But on that hour of sacred prayer
Two men of faith were walking there
and no silver or gold coins in your hands
But the power of healing came in the name of Jesus
"Look at us," they boldly said
Not with wealth, but grace instead
What we have, we give to you

"This came through Christ, the crucified!"

For times of peace shall come again
When Christ returns to rule and reign"
Believe in Him, and you'll be saved
He bore the cross, He left the grave
Worthy is the lamb of all praise
He'll come to make all things whole again
