I can remember when I was a youngster growin’ up in the hood

Life was so simple then. There was no worryin’ and everything was good

As I grew into a man I started wonderin’ where all those days had gone

When I can’t see my brother because of his skin though we all belong to You

Things are gettin’ hard and rough these days. I think it’s time for us to change our ways
