[00:00.00]Footprints In the Snow - Bill Monroe/his Blue Grass boys
[00:18.31]Now some folks like the summertime
[00:20.33]When the they can walk about
[00:22.49]Strolling through the meadow green
[00:24.47]It's pleasant there no doubt
[00:26.75]But give me the wintertime
[00:28.88]When the snow is on the ground
[00:31.14]For i found her when
[00:32.25]The snow on the ground
[00:35.64]I traced her little
[00:37.12]Footprints in the snow
[00:40.21]I found her little
[00:41.46]Footprints in the snow
[00:44.55]I bless that happy day
[00:46.21]When nellie lost her way
[00:48.68]For i found her
[00:49.66]When the snow was on the ground
[01:10.85]I dropped in to see her
[01:12.79]There was a big round moon
[01:15.18]Her mother said she just stepped out
[01:17.48]But would be returning soon
[01:19.96]I found her little footprints
[01:22.17]And i traced them in the snow
[01:24.45]I found her when
[01:25.44]The snow was on the ground
[01:28.84]I traced her little
[01:30.21]Footprints in the snow
[01:33.19]I found her little
[01:34.48]Footprints in the snow
[01:37.70]I bless that happy day
[01:39.65]When nellie lost her way
[01:41.85]For i found her
[01:42.78]When the snow was on the ground
[02:04.28]Now she's up in heaven
[02:05.93]She's with the angel band
[02:08.37]I know i'm going to meet
[02:10.13]Her in that promised land
[02:12.42]But every time the snow
[02:14.06]Falls it brings back memories
[02:17.01]For i found her when
[02:17.98]The snow was on the ground
[02:21.26]I traced her little
[02:22.90]Footprints in the snow
[02:25.54]I found her little
[02:26.99]Footprints in the snow
[02:30.22]I bless that happy day
[02:32.07]When nellie lost her way
[02:34.27]For i found her
[02:35.18]When the snow was on the ground
