The pine trees stand in silent grace
Around the frozen lake's embrace
The northern air is clear and cold
A silver story softly told
No noise no rustle in the night
Just winter bathed in starlight bright
Breath in the peace let go the pain
The forest calms the weary brain
Listen close to nothingness
A quiet touch a soft caress
Oh mirror lake of blue and snow
Where soft and gentle star-lights glow
Float away on quiet streams
Into a land of silver dreams
Rest your soul so safe so deep
Where quiet waters gently sleep
The pale moon shines upon the bark
A candle flickering in the dark
No past to chase no future fear
Just holy silence staying near
Oh mirror lake of blue and snow
Where soft and gentle star-lights glow
Float away on quiet streams
Into a land of silver dreams
Rest your soul so safe so deep
Where quiet waters gently sleep
Ah Suomi night
Ooh Pure and white
Feel the stillness in your breast
An endless haven endless rest
Oh mirror lake of blue and snow
Where soft and gentle star-lights glow
Float away on quiet streams
Into a land of silver dreams
Rest your soul so safe so deep
Where quiet waters gently sleep
Silent lake
Starry night
Rest in peace
