Violet skies on the edge of a scream

You stood still like a broken dream

Feathers fell in the quiet wind

I never knew where I should begin

Cold breath paints the window blue

Every word just echoes you

Hill so steep, I slipped inside

A love I lost, a place to hide

On Violet Hill, I said your name

It vanished fast like a winter flame

The crane flew off, I stayed behind

With every ghost you left in mind

Lanterns lit on the snowy street

No one here, just the echo of feet

Your coat, your laugh, still haunt the pine

As if the stars forgot the time

You were never mine, just passing through

Like snow on stone, or sky so blue

But still I climb that silent rise

With frozen tears and violet eyes

On Violet Hill, I write in frost

The lines of love I thought I lost

If you return, the sky might bend

But until then, this hill won’t end
