Splash Into the Summer

Sunlight dancing on the highway

Ocean shining through the trees

Radio turned up to maximum

Salt and sugar in the breeze

Cold drinks sweating in the cupholder

Bare feet tapping to the beat

Every color feels electric

Every second tastes so sweet

Splash into the summer

Let the blue sky pull us under

Turn the music even louder

We can dance until the sun goes down

Splash into the summer

Feel the heartbeat like the thunder

Every mile is getting brighter

We’re alive and nothing matters now

Palm tree shadows on the sidewalk

Golden glitter on your skin

Laughing like the whole wide coastline

Was just waiting to begin

Polaroids and melting ice cream

Sand still hiding in our shoes

We don’t need a destination

Any road is ours to choose

Top down, hot town, sunlight on blast

New wave, blue day, never moving slow

One beat, two hearts, racing with the heat

Lilica in the back with the bass down low

No sleep, all night, chasing every light

Moon high, sea bright, everything is gold

Hands up, don’t stop, let the whole world watch

This is our summer and we’re never growing old

Splash into the summer

Let the blue sky pull us under

Turn the music even louder

We can dance until the sun goes down

Splash into the summer

Feel the heartbeat like the thunder

Every mile is getting brighter

We’re alive and nothing matters now

Splash into the summer

With the stars above the water

Keep the windows open wider

Let the warm wind carry us away

Splash into the summer

Every night becomes another

Little memory made of color

That will never ever fade away
