I remember when I had my mind

it was a long time ago

when torment pain confusion and emptiness

Hid behind a lying smile

thinking I had things right my way

but a lot I didn’t know

ignorance was cool once I realized I had it

after that it didn’t stay for a while

knowledge came and settled in

I became sober for the first time

And joy came simply because

I became transformed by the renewing of my mind and

I lost my mind

And I never wanna find it again

If I had the mindset I can win even with my chocolate skin self it doesn’t matter who you are

the mind determines how far you’ll go and you know

so remember you’re only go as far as you know

so elevate your awareness

Then you will realize who you are

fill yourself with life be a light and rock the world

I’ll rock the world because
