When I woke up
I could feel the
Traces of rot
Etched in my skin
Spreading decay
Had not been letting up
Trying to peel it out myself
It hurt and started bleeding
If I can't get rid of this rot,
I fear that soon it might start leaking
Suddenly, I felt my feet,
Drawn into something cold and deep
Flowing rot began to seep,
And then it dawned on me that-
I can't get out
Of this rot that's
Dragging me down,
Wish I could fly away
Before I ultimately drown
But both my wings have soaked it up,
And now they spread no longer
So here I'm stuck inside this rot
That keeps pulling me down and under
Always withering,
But to what end?
Just to fade away?
Am I so condemned?
Festering despair,
Corroding hate,
Praying you'll come save me,
Knowing it's too late
I can't get out
Of this rot that's
Dragging me down,
Wish I could fly away
Before I ultimately drown
But both my wings have soaked it up,
And now they spread no longer
So here I'm stuck inside this rot
That keeps pulling me down and under
Seasons come and seasons go,
Until this rot is all I know
Feelings stagnate and won't flow,
I bet it's all because I-
I can't get out
Of this rot that's
Dragging me down,
If it won't let go of me soon
I'll ultimately drown
But both my wings have broken off,
So I can't fly no longer
Forever stuck inside this rot,
How much can I withstand, I wonder
