The sky is burning, the trumpets sound
The armies gather, the lines are drawn
Darkness rises, but it won't last long
The King is coming, His Word is strong
Chains are shaking, the demons run
The grave is empty, the war's begun
Every shadow breaks at the name above
This is the power of relentless love
The storm is raging, the world will shake
But the throne of God will never break!
We take the last stand, raise the flame!
Christ is eternal, forever reigns!
The gates of hell fall, the war is won—
Glory to Jesus, the risen Son!
The serpent strikes, but his head is crushed
The cross declares,"It is finished!"
Every weapon forged is bound to fail
The Lamb has triumphed, the blood prevails
I hear the angels in the sky
I hear the battle as the saints arise
No fear, no death, no power remains
Our God is sovereign, forever reigns
The storm is raging, the world will shake
But the throne of God will never break!
We take the last stand, raise the flame!
Christ is eternal, forever reigns!
The gates of hell fall, the war is won—
Glory to Jesus, the risen Son!
Armor on! Swords high!
We fight till the end of time!
Blood bought! Chains gone!
The victory has always been won!
I've seen the shadows, I've felt the weight
But His Spirit burns, it won't abate
The Lamb who died is the Lion who roars
And His kingdom reigns forevermore
The grave is broken, the stone is rolled!
The war is over, the King takes hold!
All knees will bow, all tongues confess—
Forever Jesus, no more, no less!
We take the last stand, raise the flame!
Christ is eternal, forever reigns!
The gates of hell fall, the war is won—
Glory to Jesus, the risen Son!
We take the last stand, side by side!
The Spirit burns, the Church won't hide!
The trumpet sounds, the King has come—
Forever Jesus, the Holy One!
"The war is finished the King has won"
