I was driving home from work

It was a Tuesday afternoon

The sun was setting on the highway

I'm gonna see my lady tonight

Then I saw the checkered blue and White

Hidden out of sight

The camera pointed at me

I was going seventy three

In a seventy zone

Highway patrol

Yeah you just ruined my day

Speeding is bad I agree
