All of the things I remember
are lovely and bittersweet
shining in faces each December
no new year meets
Sentimental reminiscing
those stories that I have lived
some are still vivid others missing
never to be re-lived
There are a few things that I remember
and wish that I could just forget
other moments that I’ll always treasure
indelible stories my life wrote
both for good and bad
Step back in time in your mind
find a name walk down memory lane
There are a few thingsthat I’ve forgotten
and wish now I could just recall
precious seconds lost time can not measure
incredible stories to be told both happy and sad
