Sixth Settlement Trail 六寮古道 - Matthew Lien (马修·连恩)
词：Matthew Lien
曲：Matthew Lien
客家乡亲同欢乐
期望今年收成多
Into the forest valley
I walk the ancient trail
Toward an ancient settlement
Now shrouded in the vale
Beside the creek continues
On its journey undeterred
Though I take pause to listen
It continues undisturbed
I feel a solemn gratitude
As life moves all around me
Because I seem irrelevant
To all that here surrounds me
For in my insignificance
I am not the song
It is in ever present harmony
I find that I belong
客家乡亲同欢乐
期望今年收成多
I think of all the settlers
Who've gone this way before me
Returning to their families
Their homestead in the valley
Did they share this feeling
To know where they belong
I thank them for their memory
I thank them for this song
Into the forest valley
I walk the ancient trail
Toward an ancient settlement
Now shrouded in the vale
Beside the creek continues
On its journey undeterred
Though I take pause to listen
It continues undisturbed
