Open Window - Stephen Clair
I just sit by the open window
Watch the street lamp turn to ember glow
It'll be cold before the morning
It'll be September before you know
I just stare out at the side walk
It's more grey than the night
So men can be so hard on you fade when you've been standing
Your whole life
I just open all the windows
And turn the radio up loud
We need air out of our minds
We need air out of this place so well
Yeah
I don't pretend to look forward to shiver line snow
I don't know why we stop looking for some better place to go
I keep wishing that I see you pack up your car
And turn the means and smelling say
Come on
Come on
Let's drive really far
I just keep drinking for the rest of my life
The same old people in the same old dying
On the portray it's not time below
I went this town
Let us go
I just throw the radio out the window
I'm feeling so much better now
The hit street line upon its way down
Meet bird now
Then it here the ground
