I can see through eyes of the child at play
Foresee punishment for decadent lives the norm
I see beyond the coming storm past the drought of the modern day
Long before the sickened flies devour me

The picture of acceptance the image before me now too vague
Too many faces to recognize
Colors of skin
Blasted by time
Blasted the same
A gift of the senses
And before long sense it without seeing
Skin blisters rotted transforming gone
Feeling the depths of darkness climbing up
For the sake of peace the roots of animosity abound awaken me
Bask in e*****y of living anatomy
No longer blind

Slavery through history a plague of horrors in our name
