I wake up every morning with the scriptures in my mind

Seeking first the Kingdom, leaving worldly fears behind

The enemy is lurking, trying hard to steal my peace

But I call upon my Savior and His mercy brings release

The helmet of salvation keeps my thoughts upon the King

The breastplate of His righteousness protects me from the sting

The belt of truth is fastened, I won't compromise my soul

The gospel of His peace will guide me toward the goal

The shield of faith is lifted when the fiery arrows fly

The sword of God's own Spirit makes the powers of darkness cry

I'm praying in the Spirit, keeping watch throughout the night

Depending on my Savior, not my strength to win the fight

No weapon formed against me can defeat God's perfect plan

I'm standing on His promises, upheld by His mighty hand

The battle is the Lord's and His victory is secure

Through the blood of Jesus Christ, my salvation will endure

When temptation comes knocking, I remember Calvary

Where the Savior crushed the power of the sin that shackled me

I don't wrestle against flesh, there's a battle for the soul

But the Lord of all creation has my future in control

Every prayer becomes a weapon when it's offered in His name

Not to glorify my power, but to magnify His fame

When my heart is growing weary and my vision starts to fade

I remember every promise that my faithful Savior made

I'm a soldier of the Kingdom, but my strength is from above

Every step is held together by His everlasting love

I intercede for brothers who are struggling in the storm

Asking God to keep them faithful in His image to transform

Though the darkness may surround me, I will never stand alone

For my Savior intercedes before the Father's holy throne

With thanksgiving and petition, I surrender every care

And I stand beneath His armor, persevering through my prayer
