###Verse 1
You ran around with bells on your tiny feet
Shouting “More candy please!”in Christmas heat
You climbed on Grandpa’s lap eyes wide with awe
Begged for stories of Santa’s magical claw
We played “Santa’s helper ”wrapping gifts in haste
You stuck tape everywhere with a grin so chased
You high-fived me proud when the tree lights glowed
A nephew’s joy making the night explode
###Pre-Chorus
The bells still jingle in the box where they lay
Your grin echoes on through the holiday
I set out your favorite treats by the tree
Waiting for the magic just you and me
###Chorus
To my beloved nephew in heaven above
This Christmas cheer is sent with my love
You’re laughing loud with angels by your side
Shining down on us in the starry tide
Merry Christmas dear one bright and bold
Your love’s the spark that makes the season gold
###Verse 2
You helped me build a snowman lopsided and tall
Stole its carrot nose then ran off down the hall
You tugged my sleeve begging for one more game
“Pin the tail on Rudolph ”you called out by name
We drank hot cocoa with marshmallows piled high
You spilled some on your shirt but didn’t sigh
You said “It’s okay it’s Christmas cheer!”
A little soul so full of sincere
###Pre-Chorus
The bells still jingle in the box where they lay
Your grin echoes on through the holiday
I set out your favorite treats by the tree
Waiting for the magic just you and me
###Chorus
To my beloved nephew in heaven above
This Christmas cheer is sent with my love
You’re laughing loud with angels by your side
Shining down on us in the starry tide
Merry Christmas dear one bright and bold
Your love’s the spark that makes the season gold
###Bridge
I know you’re there in heaven’s snowy land
Playing with angels hand in hand
You’re not far off in the wind’s soft call
In the way I laugh in the way I fall
Someday we’ll build snowmen in that heavenly glow
Till then your love’s where my heart will go
###Chorus
To my beloved nephew in heaven above
This Christmas cheer is sent with my love
You’re laughing loud with angels by your side
Shining down on us in the starry tide
Merry Christmas dear one bright and bold
Your love’s the spark that makes the season gold
###Outro
Merry Christmas nephew I miss you so
Your spirit’s alive in every festive glow
