[00:00.00]September Song (Knickerbocker Holiday 1938) - Walter Huston
[00:19.68]When I was a young man courting the girls
[00:23.31]I played me a waiting game
[00:26.59]If a maid refused me with tossing curls
[00:30.14]I'd let the old earth take a couple of whirls
[00:33.61]While I plied her with tears in please of pearls
[00:38.11]And as time came around she came my way
[00:42.46]As time came around she came
[00:47.67]But it's a long long while from May to December
[00:55.68]And the days grow short when you reach September
[01:03.74]And the autumn weather turns the leaves to flame
[01:11.59]And I happened what time
[01:15.63]All the waiting game
[01:20.67]And the days turn to bone
[01:24.16]As take of few
[01:27.31]September
[01:30.66]November
[01:34.45]And these few going days
[01:38.68]I'll share with you
[01:42.74]These going days
[01:45.75]I'll share with you
[01:51.50]And the while do windles down to a precious flow
[01:58.65]September
[02:02.12]November
[02:05.98]And these few went gens
[02:10.13]I'll share with you
[02:14.23]These went gens I'll share with you
