Tie Down the Wind - Pride Of Lions
Damn that dream
It always seemed just out of reach
When I awoke
I was grabbing smoke
Crazy schemes
Out of boundaries out of touch
That's what they'd say then walk away
I took my clues from heroes down through history
From people who would challenge all the life's mysteries
I'm taking my life back again
Follow your star
It's burning inside you
Just be who you are
Cut cross the grain
When those all around you think
You've gone insane
To tame something wild
To try to escape your own skin
Is like trying to tie down the wind
Got out of town
Where no old memories raise their heads
To hold me down
Broke the mold
Only do what feels like truth
I can't be sold
My word is gold
So while you're young
Set in motion every plan that you've begun
See the person you'll become
It's your life don't waste it away
Follow your star
It's burning inside you
Just be who you are
Cut cross the grain
When those all around you think
You've gone insane
To tame something wild
To try to escape your own skin
Is like trying to tie down the wind
Roar like the rolling thunder
Live like the time is now
Shout to the heights of heaven
Believe when the others doubt
Dream with a faith unbroken
Love with an open heart
Try though your hands are shaking
Smile though you're failling apart
To tame something wild
To try to escape your own skin
Is like trying to tie down tie down the wind
Tie down the wind
Follow your star
Just be who you are
Follow your star
Be who you are
Follow your star
Just be who you are
