Lord, don't move the mountain

Lord, don't move the mountain,

give me strenght to climb.

Please, don't move

that stumbling block,

lead me safety round it.

My way may not be easy,

you did not say it would be.

But when my tribulations

get too much,

don't me stray from Thee.

Lord, don't move the mountain...

When my burdens get heavy,

seem more than I can bear,

I don't give up

because You promised me

You would meet me

at the altar of prayer.

Lord, don't move the mountain...
